“Beginner’s Guide to Songwriting is an online, one hour masterclass with a unique combination of holistic and technical songwriting instruction. Getting Started will explore why we are called to songwriting, how to use songwriting as a form of expression, and how to identify the songwriting tools we already possess. Navigating Creativity will include an overview of common chord progressions and song structure, songwriting tricks for non-instrumentalists, and my signature Melody Motivator/Lyric Loosener writing prompts. Finally, participants will learn how to become creative tastemakers and develop their personal sound and writing style in Signature Stew. Attendees will leave with the confidence and clarity to express their musical creativity to the fullest.”
